What does it mean to pursue Science

Before reading further it is important to realise that some languages don’t have the vocabulary to encompass the true meaning of a word or there is an incorrect registering of the definition of a word. It is also important to understand that the meaning of words change as time pass by.

Let us start with a little story.

A turtle went to the dry land to bask in the sun for a while. When he returned his fellow fishes asked him:
“Where went you?”
“To the dry land.” said the turtle.
“What is the land?” asked the fishes.
“It is beyond waters.” replied the turtle.
“You are lying, there is nothing beyond the waters”, said the first fish.
“It must be quite wet; the dry land that you speak of”, said the second fish.

The turtle became frustrated with the responses of the first two fishes, when suddenly the third fish spoke.
“Maybe we don’t have the lexicon to understand the concept that you want to convey” said the third fish.
“You are right my friend, I would give you the closest description of the ‘dry land'”, said the turtle merrily.

The third fish was Ida, who went on to become a human on the mythical seventh day.

The turtle enlightened the fish. The fish in turn had an expansion of consciousness as a direct result of that. The fish became the human and revered the turtle as an object of beauty.

To be a Master of the true Science is to be the Master of the Self. This can further be divided into two parts.

It means to realise two things:

(1.) The ability to integrate and differentiate facts. To be able to understand emergence (combination of simpler parts to give more than sum total of the parts ) and splitting things into simpler part.

Just like E = MC2

In-between is the penalty that 100% energy cannot be converted into mass and vice-versa. We can never know THE TRUTH, but we can always get closer to The Truth and in the process acquire a truth. We can try to get as close as possible to it but pen ultimately there is a limit.

People who in a truly unbiased way and even ingeniously explains the very gist of a purpose posed in front of them are the ones who extrapolate what Spiritual Masters speak. Now it may be that Spritual Masters are the masters of Spirit but what about someone who is a Master of Science. What does it mean to be a Master of Science?

(2.) To understand that Science is the true religion. Rest all disciplines give but partial insights into the truth.

What is a partial insight?

Suppose that you are a student of History. History makes you learn from the mistakes of others but what of its authenticity. If I think it from a scientific perspective, an influence over the historian can create a bias in the history and so what you will get is but the partial truth. However, by looking at histories in a scientific manner e.g. what they do in Macro-evolutionary analysis. We look for historical patterns, where even if we have a bias in one part, we can end up realising some truth in subsequent comparative analogies. Sometimes we discover that over whole framework of thinking is horribly wrong and so we refine the pattern. This sort of refinement of thinking leads to productive science.

People would often cite examples of Lise Meitner’s work in particle physics or that of Rosalind Franklin in molecular genetics. These are some of the examples of a biased history in which truth finally came in front of the public but what about hundreds of truth that are yet covert from the eyes of the common folk?

The spiritual understanding tells, “The truth prevails” and Science is but the search for truth.

Philosophy is the mother of science and the inventor of religion. The mother (philosophy) would give you a way of life to follow or a system of faith in other words.

So if you have a system of faith, it can be easily discoursed with the methods of science. The problematic thinking however is that where science ends; religion begins.

One more confounding fact is that “logic” which is a tool of science is one of the worst things ever invented because logic goes against the idea of believing in something that we cannot prove. Is proving the existence of Higgs Boson is equivalent of proving the existence of God?

Let us take an example of Hinduism, which is considered by a major portion of the world to be a religion (while it is not). People simply fail to understand that religion originates from a system of faith which is thought to be enlightened unto the folk by the instrument of God or a messenger. While the so called Hinduism is only a noun; a lexical addition to understand the concept of the “dry land” by the fish referring to a set of religions originating from a Science.

What Science?

The Science of Infinity.

The Sanatan (that which has not a beginning or an end). Logically this would imply a circle and so the question? Are we going around in circles? Is it the universe that is following  a circular way of life… beginning at some point and ending the same way it began?

The Sanatan is a Sanskriti which is most closely translated in another languages of the Indo European families as Culture but to the core it means Religion from Culture and Culture from Religion. A never ending loop.

True Science is the ability to look at the loop from all perspective and not walk on the path of the loop. To be “materialistic” is to go around the loop looking for meaning on the path. To be “spiritual” is to look at the loop from the top but to be a Sanatani is to make a balance between the perspectives and get closer to your truth.

Science is thus not going around in circles but identifying that “it” is in fact a circle and the way to get out of this circle is to look at it from a different perspective. That is the eureka moment in science, the true ingenuity. In Spirituality, this is called enlightenment.

The vedic wisdom is maroon to us in a myriad of ways, let alone in terms of the archaism of the language, complexity of the grammar but also our inability to accept that religion can be scientific or science can be religion.

The problem is that… most of us refer to ourselves as the instruments of God, and in turn discuss something/someone/THE which is beyond imagination. Even imagining to be imagining that imagination is beyond imagination. It is the foolishness of the common to invest so much time extrapolating God when all that is demanded of one is to believe in the God. Every spiritually enlightened person gets a different version of a truth and it is the gullibility of the common to stick with any one of these truths. The important realisation is that:

Science is the true religion by the loop of which we get a truth.
Sanskriti is the true way of life on path of which we encounter truths.

I am not trying to comment upon the authenticity of truth of any system of faith. I am just trying to tell that systems are invented/ made/ studied. The most important realisation is that we are spiritual beings who take scientific method sometimes the wrong way.

The only real systems is the one that exists… in which we are but logicians trying to walk in circle and not realising the greater freedom which comes as a direct result of enlightenment which in the end takes the form of salvation, redemption, absolution, and hundreds of these western terms or in a single Sanskrit word; Moksh.

Have you heard of the expression, “Happiness is a journey and not a destination”… well Science is the journey, scientific method is the tool, spiritual master/ scientist / historian /economies/ poet/ philosopher/ our ancestors are the teachers, and enlightenment is the destination.

Philosophy, the mother, the Goddess of all knowledge adds to the complexity of the human mind by asking one final question: What is enlightenment? The Sanskrati tells: “The only true enlightenment is the unquestioned belief in God and the fact that each and every thing/ being palpable/impalpable in this world has a purpose.”

If Philosophy is the Mother, who is The Father?

Sanatanees says: Krsn/ Shiv/ A single entity “Ahm Bram’h”

The father is the physical embodiment of the strength of the mother.

Islam says: Kh’oda/ Allah

Christianity says: “Our heavenly father, which art in heaven”

Gibran says: “Our God, who art our winged self…” Gibran who as a poet reached the same conclusions or scientifically speaking; after scrutinising the world around it found the same common truths floating in the air as the voice of the People/ the voice of the God/ the wisdom of the crowd.

“crowd, group, troop, school, swarm… all together liveth, dieth, stiched in the infinite loop”, from my poem- The Name

Need I say more?

So The Father and The Mother from the blessing of The Heavenly Ancestors bless The Sons and The Daughters to bring forth the fruit of enlightenment unto misguided humans in the form of Science.
